Visiting VSX Atlas
VSX Atlas is an independent extension discovery and analytics site. You can browse the catalog without creating an account. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes requests and technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site, protect it against abuse, and operate the service.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, visits and page performance. Its browser beacon does not use cookies or local storage and does not track individuals across websites. This measurement operates separately from optional Google Analytics; the “Privacy preferences” controls below apply to Google Analytics only.
Optional Google Analytics
On vsxatlas.com, we use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand page visits, traffic sources, device and browser information, approximate geographic location, and interactions such as scrolling, site searches and outbound link clicks. Google processes this information and uses analytics cookies to distinguish visits. Please do not enter personal or sensitive information into site searches.
Before you accept, or if you decline, our integration does not load the Google Analytics tag or send analytics measurements to Google. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization in this integration.
Your choices
Accepting Google Analytics is optional and does not affect access to site features. Use “Privacy preferences” in the footer to accept or decline at any time. If you withdraw consent after the tag has loaded, we disable collection, remove the analytics cookies accessible to this site and reload the page to unload the tag. Previously collected information is not deleted by changing this preference.
Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days, then requested again. If browser storage is blocked, your choice may only last for the current page. Analytics cookies are configured with a 180-day expiration that can renew with subsequent visits.
Essential browser storage
We use browser storage to remember your analytics choice and theme preference. This storage supports your chosen settings and is separate from optional Google Analytics.
Public catalog data and external links
The catalog describes public listings from Visual Studio Marketplace and Open VSX. Links to these registries and other third-party sites are subject to their own privacy policies.
